Westerville is a city with deep roots and a strong sense of identity—known for its welcoming spirit, vibrant traditions, and the unique balance of urban convenience and natural beauty that lives up to our motto: a city within a park. We’re a place where families thrive, where neighbors know each other, and where community engagement is a way of life. I’m committed to preserving the charm and character that drew so many of us here. One action I will take is to advocate for protections of our green spaces and parkland as the city continues to grow.

Everyone who lives, works, or visits Westerville deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued. Protecting our community means investing in public safety, maintaining safe and accessible streets, and fostering an environment where all feel welcome. It also means continuing to support our exceptional city services and responding quickly to the needs of residents. I will work to strengthen community partnerships between city departments, schools, and service organizations to ensure we’re meeting the evolving needs of our population. One action I will take is to prioritize diverse mobility options and pedestrian/bike safety and accessibility in our continued development. 

We have an excellent standard of living here in Westerville but we want to be prepared for the future.  Pushing for progress means embracing thoughtful development that reflects our values, builds community, and sustains our high quality of life. It means supporting local businesses, growing our varied housing options, keeping costs for services low, and ensuring decisions are made transparently and with public input. I’ll work to foster responsible business partnerships that contribute to the long-term vitality of our city. One action I will take is to promote inclusive community planning processes that prioritize sustainability, accessibility, and smart growth for Westerville’s future.
